Michaela is in 12th grade and is 18 years old. She is the team leader of the football team at her school, allowing her to collaborate and build teamwork skills with her peers. She also plays the piano! Michaela is passionate about STEM education, acessible healthcare, and socioecomonic equality. We are excited for her to bring her passions to the Meducate Global Team!

Livia is 13 years old! She is a part of the Junior Academy and works with the nonprofit organization Unmute. In school, she is both responsible and collaborative. We are excited for her to join the Meducate Global Team!

Mahesh Lakhwani
Karachi, Pakistan
Mahesh is 14 years old and in 8th grade! He is the president of AJ Model United Nations, where he organized numerous educational workshops and seminars and successfully hosted international events. Additionally, he is a Youth Ambassador for Human Rights and is involved in various STEM projects. He values education and community engagement, and we are excited for him to use these skills to help spread Meducate’s message.

Shivani is 17 years old and is in 12th grade. She values leadership, empathy, and authenticity. She is also the head delegate of her school in Model United Nations, where she did research and led her fellow delegates. Through this, she learned how to work with many different kinds of people while staying focused! We are so excited she decided to work with us.

Almaty, Kazakhstan
Altyngul is from Kazakhstan, and by establishing a branch of Meducate there, she aims to increase healthcare education in an area where information is otherwise limited. Altyngul is entrepreneurial, community-oriented, research-minded, and dedicated to spreading information on preventative care and mental health awareness. In Kazakhstan, she plans to partner with local healthcare workers to spread awareness on various issues and start youth initiatives to further her impact. We are so excited to work with you, Altyngul!

Eva is from Manchester, England, where she is starting a global branch of Meducate! She plans to utilize her vast fundraising abilities and Manchester’s strong academic networks to help spread Meducate’s mission. She wants to do this by hosting workshops, partnering with local schools and universitites, and building a strong social media presence for Meducate Manchester. We are so excited that Eva decided to join Meducate’s team, and we look forward to working with her!

Alagoas, Brazil
João is a 17 year old from Brazil! He is a programming enthusiast and led a movement in his country is focused on secondary education; João even presented a research project on AI and education! He loves leading research in his free time, specifically in marine biology and is also a climate activist. Additionally, he has initiated a program that assists immigrants and vulnerable youth in preparing for university entrance exams while combating hunger. We are so excited to have a leader in change like João join our team of Global Directors!

Doha, Qatar
Elyssa is a 15 year old from Qatar, and an aspiring biomedical and genetic engineer! She loves to write, perform, and learn about STEM through multimedia projects! She is passionate about societal issues, especially those affecting her home country, the Philippines, with a strong interest in addressing healthcare inequalities. Elyssa has engaged in research and writing opportunities, even being published in multiple journals and earning honors in several essay contests. In her free time, she likes to participate in theatre, coding, and building circuits with Arduino. We are so excited to work with such a bright individual!

Cindy is a 16 year old from Australia, and is a passionate STEAM student! She is a senior member on her robotics team and a volunteer at various robotics competitions. She is also a member of the New York Junior Academy, where she expands her academic interests through research and collaboration whilst cultivating meaningful connections across the globe. Cindy has additionally received a distinction from Earth & Environmental Science Australian Science Olympiad. Cindy is an incredible and motivated student, being in the top 10% of the class, and spends her free time playing badminton as a part of her school’s badminton club. We are looking forward to working with such a dedicated leader like Cindy!

Bianca is a 16 year old from Canada, and is a collaborative and innovative individual! She was a competitor in the Western Science Olympics, securing 2nd place among hundreds of participants. Bianca is also involved in the humanities, as an avid member of Mock Trial and DECA. She is an advocate for inclusivity, seen through her work as a Girls Belong Here Youth Ambassador, where she increased representation of women in medical research. We are so excited to work with you, Bianca!

She is currently a Chapter Lead in MGG's Greece Chapter, a non-profit environmental organization. In this role, she has organized events, coordinated volunteers, and led initiatives that promoted sustainability. In Greece, she aims to increase accessibility of healthcare education to help further Meducate’s mission. We’re so excited to work with Chilal to help create a healthier future!

She is a passionate STEM enthusiast, having won first place in the international Make X Robotics Competition and actively participated in various STEM challenges. As an aspiring cardiologist and a member of the New York Academy of Science, she engages in research and innovation while honing her leadership and teamwork skills through school sports. Zainab is also the co-founder and content writer for BioNexus Club, a group dedicated to simplifying biological concepts and promoting awareness of biotechnology and genetics. From volunteering at the RESALA STEM Initiative to leading the Keep It Green initiative, she is committed to environmental sustainability and community service. Recognized for her excellence in research and writing, Zainab is dedicated to making a positive impact on both local and global initiatives.

Malak is a passionate and driven future scientist from Iraq! As a member of the Athar team, she actively educates others on the importance of reading and the impact of literature. With a deep love for biology and medicine, Malak has conducted research on microscopic organisms and the Covid-19 virus, while also holding the title of "future scientist." A dedicated reader of over 750 books across various fields, she is also the head of the health committee at her school, stepping up to lead during critical times. Malak’s focus on raising awareness about respiratory diseases, diabetes, and heart disease in her community further demonstrates her commitment to health education, and she is working to establish Meducate in her area, collaborating with doctors, community members, and hospitals to provide valuable health resources and solutions.
